Fun Music School has reasonable lesson fees. We also offer a free introductory lesson for all students. This is very useful if a child isn't sure what instrument they would like to learn, as you can try out several teachers and instruments until there is a good fit!

We work to be flexible on scheduling, to make life easier for parents and adult students. We understand that sometimes life happens, and schedules don't always work out as planned. In most cases, missed lessons result in a credit on the account, which is generally made up with extra time in future lessons* if 48-hour advance notice is given.

Tuition Rates:

Most of our instructors start off with the following rates:

  • $130 per month for weekly 30-minute lessons,
  • $195 per month for weekly 45-minute lessons and
  • $260 per month for weekly 60-minute lessons.

There is $25 per month travel fee for in-home lessons.

Some advanced teachers have a higher rate fee, as all teachers are independent contractors and may charge accordingly.

* Makeup credits are issued by the teacher with advance notice or in the case of teacher error, etc. If a parent/student neglects to give advance cancellation notice, forgets about the lesson, etc., the lesson time is usually forfeited. Acts of God are negotiable! :)

Financing Music Lessons

Rising costs and inflation may make it difficult to afford music lessons. In these trying times, we wish we could lower our rates, but that simply isn't possible. We may have worked out an even better solution to keep music lessons within your budget.

Watch the video below to find out how you can save $500-$3000 per household (or more if you have a business) on your monthly expenses. Even if you don't choose Fun Music as your music education provider, we hope by saving you money elsewhere in your budget, you'll make sure to keep music lessons going no matter what. Your kids deserve it!
